For the Beef
  • 1 pound Boneless Ribeye Top sirloin or tenderloin can be substituted.
  • 1 medium Yellow Onion Red onion offers a sharper taste.
For Garnish
  • 1 tablespoon Toasted Sesame Seeds For nuttiness.
  • 2 stalks Green Onion Substitute with chives if needed.

Cooking Steps
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine thinly sliced boneless ribeye with chopped yellow onion.
  2. In a food processor, blend together soy sauce, sesame oil, light brown sugar, honey, mirin, black pepper, quartered Asian pear, garlic, and ginger until smooth.
  3. Pour the marinade over the beef and onion mixture, ensuring every slice is coated. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
  4. Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat, drizzle in a bit of oil, and add the marinated beef in portions, cooking for 3-4 minutes.
  5. Transfer the cooked bulgogi onto a serving plate, garnish with sesame seeds and green onions, and serve immediately.
