Method

Preparation Steps
  1. Begin by preparing your fresh ingredients for the Traditional Greek Pasta Salad. Peel and slice the cucumber into 1/2-inch half-moons, halve the juicy tomatoes, and dice the bell pepper into bite-sized pieces. Mince the red onion finely and chop the fresh parsley. Finally, crumble the feta cheese to ensure each bite is bursting with flavor.
  2. Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Add the rotini and cook according to the package instructions until al dente, usually around 8-10 minutes. Once ready, drain the pasta in a colander and rinse thoroughly under cold water.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine the tangy red wine vinegar, smooth olive oil, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper. Whisk gently until well blended.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, add the cooled rotini pasta, prepared vegetables, and crumbled feta cheese. Drizzle the whisked dressing over the top and toss gently to coat all ingredients evenly.
  5. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a lid and refrigerate the salad for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld together.
