Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C) and toast the day-old bread cubes for 10–12 minutes.
  2. Melt 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter in a skillet. Add onion, celery, and garlic; sauté for 6–8 minutes.
  3. Combine toasted bread, sautéed veggies, poultry seasoning, salt, pepper, parsley, eggs, and broth in a bowl.
  4. Shape mixture into golf ball-sized balls with damp hands and place on a baking sheet.
  5. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake for 20–25 minutes until golden-brown.
  6. Let cool slightly before serving, best enjoyed warm with gravy or cranberry sauce.
