- In a medium mixing bowl, blend the pumpkin puree and sweetened condensed milk until smooth and creamy.
- Generously grease the interior of your slow cooker with cooking spray or butter, then pour the spice cake mix into the greased crockpot.
- Gently pour the prepared pumpkin mixture over the cake mix in the crockpot.
- Cover the crockpot and set it to cook on high for 1 hour.
- After 1 hour, switch the setting to low and continue to cook for an additional hour.
- After a total of 2 hours, gently mix the layers of cake and pumpkin to combine them.
- Check the center of your cake for doneness and continue cooking if needed.
- Allow the cake to cool in the crockpot for at least 15 minutes before slicing.
