Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions for Sweet Cinnamon Twists
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out defrosted puff pastry on a lightly floured surface to about 1/8 inch thick.
  3. In a small bowl, combine granulated sugar with ground cinnamon.
  4. Brush the rolled pastry with melted butter and sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over it.
  5. Cut the pastry into 1-inch strips and twist each strip several times.
  6. If desired, brush twisted pastries with beaten egg for a glossy finish.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool for a few minutes and dust with powdered sugar before serving warm.
