  • 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce use tamari for gluten-free
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil no substitutes suggested
  • 1 tablespoon Honey can use agave or maple syrup for vegan option
For Garnish
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Seeds

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Gather all your ingredients. Chop napa cabbage, julienne carrots, and slice scallions if using.
  2. Toss shredded napa cabbage with a pinch of salt, letting it sit for 5 minutes.
  3. Add julienned carrots and scallions to the cabbage and mix gently.
  4. In a small bowl, combine gochugaru, minced garlic, rice vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil, and honey. Whisk until well blended.
  5. Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture and toss well for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Sprinkle sesame seeds over the slaw and give it a final light toss.
  7. Serve immediately or let it chill in the fridge for 15-30 minutes.
