- In a large bowl, combine the sourdough discard, granulated sugar, melted unsalted butter, and egg. Mix until smooth.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently until a soft dough forms.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough into a rectangle roughly ½ inch thick and cut into long strips.
- Twist each strip and shape it into spirals.
