Preparation Steps
- Rinse sushi rice under cold water until water runs clear. Cook rice with equal amount of water in a rice cooker or pot.
- Slice cooked chicken breast and coat with teriyaki sauce. Let marinate for 10-15 minutes.
- Set up sushi mat; lay nori shiny side down. Spread sushi rice, leaving 1 inch at top edge. Add chicken, cucumber, and avocado.
- Roll sushi tightly away from you, sealing edge with water. Cut into 6-8 pieces with a wet knife.
- Sprinkle sesame seeds on top and serve with soy sauce and wasabi.
