  • 1 tbsp Dark Soy Sauce less salty than regular soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Oyster Sauce substitute with mushroom sauce for a vegetarian option
For Flavor
  • 4 stalks Scallions separate white and green parts
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper Powder adjust based on your spice preference
For Cooking
  • 2 tbsp Oil vegetable or canola oil is recommended

Method
 

Steps
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the chicken thighs with soy sauce, oyster sauce, black pepper, and corn starch. Allow to marinate for about 10 minutes.
  2. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat, adding oil. Place the marinated chicken thighs in the pan. Cook for 5-7 minutes per side until golden brown.
  3. Stir in the white parts of the scallions and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add the green parts and stir for 10-20 seconds.
  4. Plate the scallion chicken, sprinkling black pepper or chopped scallions on top. Serve hot with rice or noodles.
