- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- Cook the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat for 5–7 minutes until browned. Drain excess fat and season with taco seasoning.
- Layer tortillas in the baking dish, slightly overlapping to cover the bottom.
- Spread half of the ground beef mixture, half of the beans, half of the salsa, and a generous amount of cheese. Repeat layering process and finish with cheese on top.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes, then remove foil and bake an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- Cool for 5–10 minutes, slice into squares, and serve with toppings.
