Step-by-Step Instructions
- Begin by thinly slicing your beef against the grain, ensuring each piece is uniform for even cooking. For added flavor, you can marinate the beef in a mixture of soy sauce, minced garlic, and grated ginger for about 15-30 minutes.
- In a medium bowl, combine soy sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, and honey. Add minced garlic and grated ginger, whisk until well mixed, then set aside.
- Place a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat and add vegetable oil. Heat for about 1-2 minutes until shimmering. Add marinated beef slices in a single layer, searing for 2-3 minutes.
- Once the beef is well-seared, remove it from the pan and set it aside.
- In the same pan, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil and toss in carrots, bell pepper, and broccoli florets. Stir-fry for 3-5 minutes.
- Add snap peas into the skillet, continuing to stir-fry for an additional 2-3 minutes until they are bright green.
- Return the seared beef to the pan along with the prepared sauce. Gently mix everything together and cook for about 1-2 minutes more.
- Remove the pan from heat. Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds if desired. Serve warm over steamed rice.
