Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Start by bringing 4 cups of water to a rolling boil in a medium-sized pot.
  2. Once the water is boiling, carefully add 1 cup of dried hibiscus petals and 1-2 thin slices of fresh ginger into the pot. Cover and steep for 15-20 minutes.
  3. After steeping, gently stir in your desired sweetener, allowing it to dissolve completely.
  4. Strain the tea into a clean pitcher using a fine mesh strainer to remove the petals and ginger slices.
  5. Chill the strained tea in the refrigerator for about 1 hour or pour it directly over ice.
  6. Fill glasses with ice cubes and lime wheels, then pour the chilled tea over the ice.
