Step‑by‑Step Instructions for Pizza Grilled Cheese
  1. Spread butter on one side of each bread slice. Sprinkle garlic powder and Italian seasoning on the buttered side.
  2. Lay two slices of bread buttered side down in a skillet. Spread marinara sauce on unbuttered sides, layer with mozzarella and Parmesan, then add any toppings and top with the other slices.
  3. Preheat skillet to medium-low. Cook sandwiches for 3-4 minutes until golden brown, keeping an eye on them.
