For the Cream Cheese Frosting
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup Butter room temperature
  • 2 cups Powdered Sugar adjust to taste
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 tbsp Milk adjust for consistency

Pumpkin Bread Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9x5 inch loaf pan by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, blend the granulated sugar, vegetable oil, and eggs until smooth and slightly pale.
  4. Fold in the pumpkin puree into the wet mixture until fully integrated.
  5. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring gently until just blended.
  6. If adding nuts, gently fold them into the batter until evenly distributed.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  8. Bake the pumpkin bread for about 50 to 60 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
  9. After baking, let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
  10. To make the frosting, beat together softened cream cheese and butter until smooth; add powdered sugar and vanilla.
