  • 1/2 cup Pecans Chopped; alternatively use walnuts or almonds.
For the Filling
  • 8 oz Mascarpone Cheese Cream cheese can be used as an alternative.
For the Drizzle
  • 1/4 cup Grade A Dark Amber Maple Syrup Honey can be used as a substitute.

Method
 

Directions
  1. Preheat your oven to broil. Position an oven rack at the top for caramelizing the dates.
  2. Slice each Medjool date lengthwise to remove the pit, keeping them intact.
  3. Stuff each date with mascarpone cheese using a spoon or piping bag, then sprinkle with chopped pecans.
  4. Drizzle maple syrup generously over the stuffed dates.
  5. Broil the dates for about 3 minutes until golden.
  6. Allow the dates to cool slightly before serving warm or at room temperature.
  7. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
