Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil to prevent sticking.
  3. Pat the chicken thighs dry and season each thigh with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
  4. Whisk together maple syrup, minced garlic, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, and melted butter in a medium bowl until smooth.
  5. Place the seasoned chicken thighs into the prepared baking dish.
  6. Pour the maple garlic sauce generously over the chicken thighs.
  7. Bake uncovered for about 25 minutes until the sauce starts bubbling and chicken turns golden brown.
  8. After 25 minutes, sprinkle shredded cheese and crispy halal bacon over the chicken and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
  9. Let the chicken rest for about 5 minutes before serving.
  10. Serve the chicken warm, garnished with fresh parsley or green onions and drizzle with remaining sauce.
