- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Gather your ingredients.
- Cook the chopped bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Drain on paper towels, reserving 1 tablespoon of grease.
- Add minced garlic to the reserved bacon grease and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in maple syrup, soy sauce, black pepper, salt, and smoked paprika into the skillet. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Drizzle olive oil in a large baking dish. Place chicken thighs in a single layer and pour the sauce over them.
- Sprinkle the cooked bacon over the top of the chicken thighs.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- Let the chicken rest for about 5 minutes before garnishing with parsley and serving.
