Preparation Steps
- Boil 2 cups of water in a kettle, add the black tea bags, and steep for 10 minutes. Remove tea bags and set aside.
- Combine the remaining 2 cups of water with diced ripe mango in a saucepan, bring to a boil, then simmer for 10 minutes while mashing the mango.
- Strain the mango mixture through a fine mesh sieve into the pitcher with the brewed tea, and stir gently.
- Add 2 tablespoons of honey to the mango and tea mixture, stir until dissolved, and adjust sweetness to taste.
- Cool Mango Iced Tea to room temperature, then chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving over ice.
