  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour or gluten-free flour
  • 1 cups Granulated Sugar reduce to 2 cups for less sweetness
  • 1.25 cups Eggnog can substitute with coconut nog
  • 1 tablespoon Baking Powder
  • 4 large Eggs room temperature preferred
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Nutmeg freshly grated is more fragrant
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 0.5 cups Unsalted Butter or Oil unsalted butter for richer flavor
  • optional Rum for extra festive flavor
For the Glaze
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar adjust for desired sweetness
  • 3-4 tablespoons Eggnog or Milk egg nog enhances the festive flavor
  • optional Additional Rum adds extra kick

Method
 

Directions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease the bundt pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, nutmeg, and cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together eggs, sugar, and vanilla. Add eggnog and melted butter, mixing well.
  4. Fold the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the greased bundt pan and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 40-50 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Let the cake cool in the pan for 15 minutes, then remove to a wire rack.
  8. For the glaze, mix powdered sugar with eggnog and rum until smooth.
  9. Drizzle the glaze over the cooled cake and serve.
