Method
 

Preparation Steps

  2. Whisk together the 4 large eggs until pale yellow.
  3. Drizzle in the honey and whiskey to the egg mixture and whisk until smooth.
  4. Add granulated sugar, sea salt, and melted butter, whisk until silky.
  5. Strain the mixture into the pie crust using a fine-mesh sieve.
  6. Bake for about 45 minutes until edges are firm and center jiggles slightly.
  7. Cool the pie for at least 1 hour and sprinkle flaky sea salt on top before serving.
