- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat together 1 cup of softened unsalted butter with ¾ cup of granulated sugar and ¾ cup of brown sugar.
- Add in 2 eggs, one at a time, mixing well, then pour in 1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract.
- Combine 2 ½ cups of all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, and ½ teaspoon of salt in a separate bowl.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the creamed butter mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Fold in 1 cup of toffee bits and 1 cup of caramel bits.
- Drop rounded teaspoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden brown and centers are soft.
- Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for about 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
