Prepare Cake Batter

  1. In a separate bowl, whisk together 2 cups of cake flour, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, ½ teaspoon of baking soda, and ½ teaspoon of salt. Gradually add to the cream mixture while alternating with 1 cup of milk and ½ cup of concentrated orange juice.
  2. Mix until just combined, then add ½ cup of vegetable oil, 2 tablespoons of orange zest, and 1 teaspoon of orange extract until smooth.
Bake the Cake
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare two 9-inch round cake pans. Pour the batter evenly into the pans.
