For the Lasagna
  • 12 ounces Lasagna Noodles Cook until al dente
  • 1 lb Shrimp Medium to large, or imitation crab
  • 1 lb Crab Meat Fresh lump or canned imitation
For the Cheese Mixture
  • 2 cups Ricotta Cheese Creamy and tangy
  • 2 cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese Use whole milk for richer flavor
  • 1 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese Freshly grated for best flavor
For the Sauce and Seasoning
  • 4 cups Alfredo Sauce Opt for a thicker variety
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream Can use half-and-half as a substitute
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil For sautéing
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Parsley Chopped for garnish
  • 1 tsp Salt Taste and adjust as necessary
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper Freshly ground
  • ½ tsp Red Pepper Flakes Optional for heat
For the Topping
  • ½ cup Breadcrumbs For a crunchy topping

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the lasagna noodles in salted boiling water for 8-10 minutes until al dente, then drain and lay flat.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat, sauté garlic for 1 minute.
  4. Cook shrimp in skillet for 3-4 minutes until pink, then add crab meat and seasonings.
  5. In a bowl, mix ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, heavy cream, and parsley until smooth.
  6. Spread a layer of Alfredo sauce on the bottom of the baking dish.
  7. Layer noodles, cheese mixture, seafood mixture, and Alfredo sauce, repeating until all ingredients are used.
  8. Top with remaining Alfredo sauce, mozzarella, Parmesan, and breadcrumbs.
  9. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes, then remove foil and bake another 10-15 minutes.
  10. Let rest for 10 minutes before serving, garnishing with parsley.
