Step-by-Step Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together 4 large eggs and 1 cup of half and half until fully combined. Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon, 2 tablespoons of brown sugar, and a pinch of salt, stirring well to create a smooth custard.
- Using a toothpick or skewer, poke holes in the bottom of each King's Hawaiian Roll. Set the prepared rolls aside.
- Dip each roll into the custard mixture for 30 seconds on each side. Place the rolls on a plate and prepare for cooking.
- In a skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-low heat until melted. Ensure the pan is hot enough for cooking.
- Carefully place the soaked rolls in the skillet, ensuring there’s space between them. Cook for about 30-60 seconds on each side until golden brown.
- Remove the rolls from the skillet and place them on a serving platter. Dust with powdered sugar and serve with fresh fruit and maple syrup.

Notes
For larger batches, consider using a griddle for even cooking. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
