Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Remove giblets from the turkey and pat it dry with paper towels.
  3. Combine butter, garlic, herbs, salt, and pepper in a bowl to create the garlic herb butter.
  4. Spread half of the garlic herb butter mixture under the turkey's skin and the remaining on the outside.
  5. Season the cavity of the turkey with additional salt and pepper.
  6. Truss the turkey with kitchen twine for even cooking.
  7. Place the turkey breast side up in a roasting pan and pour chicken broth into the pan.
  8. Roast the turkey for approximately 13 minutes per pound until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  9. Baste the turkey every 30 minutes with the pan juices.
  10. If the skin darkens too much, loosely cover the breasts with aluminum foil.
  11. Remove the turkey from the oven and cover loosely with foil. Let it rest for 30 minutes.
  12. Carve the turkey and arrange on a serving platter, garnishing with fresh herbs.
