Step-by-Step Instructions

  3. Combine dashi with soy sauce and mirin in a small bowl to create the sauce.
  4. Pour the dashi sauce over the soaked rice, then lay the chicken and onions on top. Cook in the rice cooker.
  5. Once cooking is complete, crack the eggs over the mixture, close the lid, and let steam for 5-7 minutes.
