Step-by-Step Instructions for Orange Glazed Salmon
  1. Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel. Season with salt and pepper and let sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil. Add salmon fillets skin-side down and sear for 4 minutes until golden.
  3. Flip the salmon and cook for another 4 minutes until cooked through at 145°F. Remove from skillet.
  4. In the same skillet, lower heat to medium and add orange juice, honey, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger. Stir well.
  5. Simmer for 2-3 minutes then mix cornstarch with water and add to sauce, stirring until thickened (1-2 minutes).
  6. Return salmon to skillet, coat well with glaze, and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  7. Transfer salmon to plates, drizzle with remaining glaze, and garnish with parsley and orange zest.
  8. Serve immediately with sides like sautéed vegetables or jasmine rice.
