  • 2 tablespoons Low-Sodium Soy Sauce Gluten-free option available
  • 1 tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil Substitute with avocado oil if desired
  • 1 clove Garlic Minced
For the Cod
  • 2 fillets Cod Fillets Select fillets of uniform thickness
  • to taste Salt Use sparingly
  • to taste Pepper Use sparingly

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the liquid honey, low-sodium soy sauce, extra virgin olive oil, and minced garlic until smooth.
  3. Pat the cod fillets dry with paper towels and season lightly with salt and pepper.
  4. Place the seasoned cod in a shallow baking dish and pour the marinade over the top.
  5. Let the cod sit in the marinade for 5-10 minutes.
  6. Bake the cod for 12-15 minutes until it is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Let the cod rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
