Ingredients
  

For the Crust
  • 24 cookies Oreo or substitute with graham crackers
  • ½ cup Butter unsalted, melted
For the Creamy Layers
  • 8 ounces Cream Cheese softened
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar or coconut sugar as alternative
  • 1 package Instant Pudding Mix (Chocolate or Vanilla)
  • 2 cups Milk any type, including dairy-free
  • cups Cool Whip or whipped cream
For the Decadent Finish
  • ½ cup Chopped Pecans or replace with favorite nut
  • to taste Chocolate Sauce or caramel sauce as substitute

Method
 

Crust Preparation
  1. Crush 24 Oreo cookies in a food processor until fine crumbs form.
  2. Melt ½ cup of unsalted butter in a microwave-safe bowl.
  3. Combine crushed cookies with melted butter until it resembles wet sand.
  4. Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of a 9x13 inch dish and refrigerate for 15 minutes.
Cream Cheese Layer
  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat 8 ounces of softened cream cheese with 1 cup of powdered sugar until smooth.
  2. Fold in 1 cup of Cool Whip until fully incorporated.
  3. Spread this layer over the chilled crust and refrigerate for 10 minutes.
Pudding Layer
  1. Whisk together one 3.4-ounce package of instant chocolate pudding mix and 2 cups of milk until thickened.
  2. Pour the thickened pudding over the cream cheese layer, spreading it evenly.
  3. Return to the refrigerator for another 10 minutes to set.
Whipped Cream Layer
  1. Spread 1½ cups of Cool Whip over the chocolate pudding evenly.
  2. Cover the dessert with plastic wrap and chill for at least 2 hours.
Finishing Touch
  1. Drizzle chocolate or caramel sauce over the top and sprinkle ½ cup of chopped pecans.
  2. Cut into squares and serve chilled.
