  • 2 large Mashed Overripe Bananas
  • 1 cup Chocolate Chips reserve some for topping

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare an 8x8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, beat the softened unsalted butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the egg, vanilla extract, and salt; mix until smooth and well combined.
  4. Fold in the all-purpose flour gently until no visible flour remains.
  5. Fold in mashed bananas and 3/4 of the chocolate chips.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan, level the surface, and sprinkle remaining chocolate chips on top.
  7. Bake for 33 to 37 minutes until the edges are golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool completely in the pan before slicing into 16 squares.
