Ingredients
  

For the Dip Base
  • 1 lb Ground Beef can substitute with ground turkey or plant-based meat
  • 2 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese or use Monterey Jack or a cheese blend
  • 16 oz Velveeta Cheese or substitute with cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise Greek yogurt can be a lighter alternative
  • 1/2 cup Ketchup homemade ketchup or BBQ sauce can substitute
  • 2 tbsp Yellow Mustard Dijon mustard can be used for a spicier kick
Flavor Enhancers
  • 1 cup Diced Dill Pickles or use sweet pickles for a different flavor twist
  • 1 tbsp Pickle Juice omit if not available or use vinegar
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder can substitute with fresh garlic
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Cook until the beef is fully browned, about 7-10 minutes, breaking it apart with a spatula. Once cooked, drain any excess grease and set the meat aside for later.
  2. In your trusty crockpot, combine the cooked beef with shredded cheddar cheese, Velveeta cheese, diced dill pickles, mayonnaise, ketchup, yellow mustard, and pickle juice. Stir all the ingredients until evenly incorporated.
  3. Set your crockpot to the LOW setting and allow the dip to cook for 2-3 hours, stirring occasionally to promote even melting.
  4. Once melted and creamy, switch the crockpot to the WARM setting and serve directly from it.
