  4. Press the egg-coated chicken into the breadcrumb mixture for an even coating.
  5. Heat oil or butter in a skillet and cook the chicken for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Bake for 20-25 minutes if preferred.
  6. Let the chicken rest for a few minutes and garnish with fresh herbs before serving.
