Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the chicken strips with soy sauce, egg, cornstarch, and all-purpose flour. Mix well and marinate for 15-20 minutes.
  2. Heat about 1/4 cup of oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated chicken in batches and fry for 4-5 minutes until golden brown. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  3. In a clean pan, add a tablespoon of oil and sauté minced garlic and grated ginger for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Add the sliced bell peppers and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until they begin to soften.
  5. Stir in the chili garlic sauce, ketchup, soy sauce, vinegar, sugar, and red chili flakes. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Add the fried chicken back into the pan and toss everything together. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until well-coated.
  7. Transfer the Dragon Chicken to a serving platter and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds or cashews. Serve hot.
