- Season chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Let sit while preparing rice.
- Rinse rice under cold water until clear. Set aside.
- Combine rinsed rice with chicken broth and a pinch of salt in a saucepan. Bring to boil, then cover and simmer for 18 minutes.
