Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Soak the cashews in water for 6 to 8 hours or in boiling water for 20 to 30 minutes. Then drain and rinse them.
  2. Gather all remaining ingredients: milk, green chilies, jalapenos, lemon juice, nutritional yeast, smoked paprika, and chili powder.
  3. In a high-speed blender, combine cashews, milk, green chilies, jalapenos, lemon juice, and nutritional yeast. Add spices and blend until smooth.
  4. Taste and adjust seasoning; add salt gradually if needed, and blend after each addition.
  5. Transfer to an airtight container and store in the fridge for up to 7 days or freeze for up to a month.
