Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, mushrooms, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, and egg. Add garlic powder and Italian herbs, mixing thoroughly with your hands.
  3. Scoop about two tablespoons of the meat mixture and roll into balls, placing them on the baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  5. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in flour to create a roux, cooking for about 2 minutes. Gradually whisk in heavy cream and chicken broth, thickening into a sauce.
  6. Once the meatballs are baked, transfer them to the saucepan and gently fold to coat. Simmer on low heat for about 5 minutes.
  7. Serve the meatballs warm over pasta, rice, or enjoy them on their own.
