Preparation Steps
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch pie dish with butter.
- Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a medium skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onion and sauté for about 5 minutes.
- Stir in minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
- Add corn kernels to the skillet and sauté for 2-3 minutes.
- In a large bowl, whisk together eggs and milk. Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Fold in sautéed corn mixture and shredded cheddar cheese.
- Pour filling into the prepared pie dish.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes until set and golden.
- Cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
