Step-by-Step Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large pot, bring salted water to a rolling boil and add the ziti. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente, about 8–10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- While the ziti cooks, heat a skillet over medium heat and add the smoked beef. Sauté for 5–7 minutes until browned. Drain excess liquid.
- Reduce the heat to low and add the Alfredo sauce, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning to the beef. Stir for about 2 minutes until heated and well-blended.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked ziti with the beef and Alfredo mixture. Toss gently to coat the pasta evenly.
- Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish and transfer the pasta and beef mixture into it, spreading evenly.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese over the top of the casserole, ensuring it’s covered thoroughly.
- Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25–30 minutes, until the cheese is bubbling and golden brown.
- Let the casserole rest for about 5 minutes before serving.
