Preparation Steps
  1. Gather all your ingredients for the Creamy Avocado Grilled Cheese.
  2. Slice the ripe avocado in half, remove the pit, and mash the flesh in a bowl.
  3. Mix in lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to taste.
  4. Heat a frying pan over medium heat for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Butter one side of each slice of bread.
  6. Place one slice of butter-side down in the hot pan, add cheese, then the avocado mixture, and top with another slice of bread butter-side up.
  7. Grill for 3-4 minutes until golden brown, then flip and grill the other side.
  8. Remove from the pan, cool for a minute, slice in half, and enjoy!
  9. Spread remaining avocado mixture on one half of the sandwich before completing.
