Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, granulated sugar, brown sugar, whole milk, large egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Add the ground cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cloves, and salt to the pumpkin mixture. Stir until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour and baking powder. Gradually mix it into the pumpkin mixture.
  5. Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish and pour the batter in, spreading evenly.
  6. Sprinkle the chopped pecans over the top of the batter.
  7. Carefully pour the boiling water over the entire cobbler mixture.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 50 to 60 minutes, until golden brown.
  9. Remove from the oven and let cool for about 10 minutes before slicing.

Notes
