  • 1/4 cup maple syrup or honey as an alternative
  • 1/4 cup coconut sugar or brown sugar as a substitute

Cooking Instructions
  1. Melt the butter in a medium skillet over medium heat until bubbling and golden, about 1-2 minutes.
  2. Slice the bananas into thick rounds and place them cut-side down in the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Flip the bananas over and sprinkle with coconut sugar. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until caramelized.
  4. Add heavy cream to the skillet, stirring in maple syrup and a hint of cinnamon. Cook until thickened, about 2-3 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in any remaining butter until melted.
  6. Serve warm Cinnamon Fried Bananas drizzled with the creamy sauce and topped with chopped walnuts if desired.
