Step-by-Step Instructions for Chicken Caesar Pasta Salad
- Boil a large pot of salted water. Add 8 ounces of rotini or penne pasta and cook for 8-10 minutes until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water.
- Dice 2 cups of cooked chicken breast and chop 4 cups of romaine lettuce. If using, halve 1 cup of cherry tomatoes. Mix all in a large bowl.
- Add the cooled pasta to the bowl and gently toss all ingredients together.
- Pour 1/2 cup of Caesar dressing over the salad, gently folding it in to coat all pieces.
- Sprinkle 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese over the salad. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and gently stir to combine.
- If desired, add croutons on top and garnish with fresh herbs like parsley.
- Chill the salad in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.
