Step-by-Step Instructions for Chicken Caesar Pasta Salad
  1. Boil a large pot of salted water. Add 8 ounces of rotini or penne pasta and cook for 8-10 minutes until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water.
  2. Dice 2 cups of cooked chicken breast and chop 4 cups of romaine lettuce. If using, halve 1 cup of cherry tomatoes. Mix all in a large bowl.
  3. Add the cooled pasta to the bowl and gently toss all ingredients together.
  4. Pour 1/2 cup of Caesar dressing over the salad, gently folding it in to coat all pieces.
  5. Sprinkle 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese over the salad. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and gently stir to combine.
  6. If desired, add croutons on top and garnish with fresh herbs like parsley.
  7. Chill the salad in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.
