Method
 

Directions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the diced onion and celery, sauté for 4-5 minutes until soft.
  3. Sprinkle the all-purpose flour into the skillet, stirring into the sautéed vegetables. Cook for 1-2 minutes until lightly golden.
  4. Gradually whisk in the seafood broth and heavy cream, cooking for 3-4 minutes until thickened and smooth.
  5. Add garlic powder, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir well and taste to adjust seasonings.
  6. Fold in the cooked shrimp, crab meat, and frozen peas and carrots. Remove from heat once combined.
  7. Pour the seafood filling into a 9-inch pie dish, spreading it evenly.
  8. Prepare the refrigerated Cheddar Bay Biscuits following package instructions, mixing in shredded cheddar cheese.
  9. Drop spoonfuls of the biscuit dough over the seafood filling, covering as much as possible.
  10. Bake for 30-40 minutes until biscuits are golden brown and filling bubbles.
  11. Let the pot pie cool for 10-15 minutes before serving.
