Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, mix flour, yeast, and sugar. Add warm milk, eggs, and butter, then knead until combined. Let dough rise until doubled, about 1-2 hours.
  2. Prepare fillings by mixing blueberry jam in one bowl and cream cheese with some jam in another until spreadable.
  3. Roll out the dough to a rectangle (16x24 inches) on a floured surface.
  4. Spread the blueberry jam over the dough and layer with the cream cheese mixture.
  5. Roll the dough tightly from one long edge to form a log and seal the edges. Place in a greased loaf pan.
  6. Cover the babka and let it rise for 30-45 minutes, preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  7. Bake in preheated oven for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Cool for 10 minutes, then drizzle with glaze made from powdered sugar and milk or lemon juice.
