- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly oil a 9x13 inch baking dish with olive oil.
- In a medium saucepan, melt ½ cup of unsalted butter over medium-low heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 60 seconds.
- Pat the salmon fillet dry and place it skin-side down in the prepared baking dish. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
- Pour three-quarters of the garlic butter sauce over the salmon and arrange lemon slices on top.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon turns opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
- Drizzle the remaining garlic butter sauce over the salmon and sprinkle with additional parsley. Serve immediately.
