Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Slice the Italian sub rolls in half lengthwise and arrange cut side up on the baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, melt the unsalted butter and whisk in garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, basil, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper.
- Brush the seasoned butter mixture on the cut sides of the rolls.
- Layer the sandwich fillings with salami, ham, pepperoni, mozzarella, and provolone on the bottom halves of the rolls.
- Top with grated Parmesan cheese, roasted red peppers, black olives, and banana peppers.
- Add fresh basil leaves on top of the fillings.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes until the cheese is melted and bread is golden.
- Allow to cool briefly before slicing and serving warm.
