Step‑by‑Step Instructions
- Allow your fully cooked bone-in ham to sit covered at room temperature for 2 hours. Preheat your oven to 325°F.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the apricot preserves, honey, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, and unsalted butter. Stir continuously until the mixture starts to simmer, about 2-3 minutes.
- Place the ham cut-side down in a roasting pan lined with aluminum foil. Brush one-third of your glaze all over the surface of the ham. Cover the roasting pan with foil and bake for about 10-11 minutes per pound, totaling roughly 2 hours.
- Increase your oven temperature to 425°F. Carefully uncover the ham, brush another one-third of the glaze on it, and return it to the oven uncovered for an additional 10 minutes.
- Take the ham out of the oven and apply the remaining glaze. Place it back in the oven uncovered for another 10 minutes, ensuring it reaches an internal temperature of 130-135°F.
- Once reached, remove it from the oven and let it rest for 15-20 minutes before slicing.

Notes
For best results, check the temperature with a meat thermometer and let the ham rest before slicing to ensure moist, flavorful portions.
