Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (177°C) and spray a muffin pan with nonstick spray.
- In a large bowl, whisk together old-fashioned oats, cinnamon, milk or yogurt, and any sweeteners.
- Fold in the chopped sweet apples and any optional nuts or toppings.
- Fill muffin cups about three-quarters full with the batter.
- Optionally sprinkle coarse sugar on top of each cup.
- Bake for 28-30 minutes until lightly browned and set.
- Cool in the pan for 5-10 minutes before serving or storing.
