Step-by-Step Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8x5-inch loaf pan.
- In a small bowl, combine brown sugar and ground cinnamon.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Stir in melted butter and vanilla extract.
- Gradually mix in all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until just combined.
- Gently fold in chopped apples.
- Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan and sprinkle three-quarters of the cinnamon sugar mixture on top.
- Pour remaining batter over cinnamon sugar, then sprinkle rest of the cinnamon sugar mixture on top and swirl gently with a knife.
- Bake for 35–45 minutes until golden brown; check doneness with a toothpick.
- Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
