Step-by-Step Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9x5 inch loaf pan with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, toss together the diced apples with brown sugar and ground cinnamon. Set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the unsalted butter and granulated sugar until fluffy. Beat in the eggs, followed by the vanilla extract. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour and baking powder, then gradually add the dry mix to the wet ingredients alternately with milk.
- Pour half of the batter into the lined loaf pan. Layer half of the apple mixture on top. Pour the remaining batter over the apples, followed by the rest of the apple mixture. Use a knife to swirl everything together.
- Bake for 50-55 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean with a few moist crumbs.
- Allow the bread to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract to create a glaze. Drizzle over the cooled bread.

Notes
For the best flavor, let the bread sit overnight. Adjust the glaze thickness to preference.
